Holiday Social Media Plan for Palm Beach County Businesses (Nov-Dec 2026)

In Palm Beach County, the holiday rush and the start of season show up at the same time. Snowbirds are flying back, visitors are booking trips, and locals are gift shopping in flip-flops. That means more people looking for you, and a lot more businesses fighting for their attention. A simple plan now beats scrambling to post something at 6am on Black Friday.

Here's the plan I'd hand any small business owner I love. Steal it.

Key holiday dates for 2026

  • Thursday, Nov 26: Thanksgiving

  • Friday, Nov 27: Black Friday

  • Saturday, Nov 28: Small Business Saturday

  • Monday, Nov 30: Cyber Monday

  • Tuesday, Dec 1: Giving Tuesday

  • Thursday-Friday, Dec 24-25: Christmas Eve and Christmas

  • Thursday, Dec 31: New Year's Eve

Add Hanukkah, your town's tree lighting, the local boat parades, and anything happening on your street.

Your week-by-week plan

Early November: get ready

  • Update your holiday hours on Google, Instagram, Facebook and your website. (Future you will thank you.)

  • Pick your offers: a gift card bonus, a holiday bundle, a Small Business Saturday special.

  • Shoot all your holiday content in one session: products wrapped, your space decorated, your team in Santa hats on the beach. It's Florida. Lean in.

Week of Nov 16: tease it

  • Post a "save the date" for your Small Business Saturday offer.

  • Share a gift guide: "5 gifts under $50 from our shop" or "gifts for the boater in your life."

Week of Nov 23: the big weekend

  • Thanksgiving: a thank-you post to your customers. Warm and personal, zero sales pitch.

  • Black Friday through Cyber Monday: one clear offer, posted every day, with Stories counting down.

  • Small Business Saturday: show your team and your story. People want to know who they're supporting.

Dec 1: Giving Tuesday

  • Spotlight a local cause you support, or partner with a nonprofit for the day.

Weeks of Dec 7 and Dec 14: keep gifting easy

  • Last-minute gift ideas, gift cards, and your shipping or pickup deadlines.

  • Customer favorites and reviews (with permission) to build trust before the final rush.

Week of Dec 21: slow down

  • Holiday hours (yes, again), a behind-the-scenes team post, and a heartfelt thank-you to close out the year.

Dec 31: ring it in

  • A "best of 2026" recap Reel and a little teaser for what's coming in January.
